Nimona: Disney Fears What It Doesn't Understand

So... Netflix decided to post the 2023 film "Nimona" up on YouTube, for free, for a week. Before it goes bye-bye, I just took the chance to watch it all the way through, and I have this say this: Wow... now I see why Disney cancelled this film... because it put the fear of God into them because of how good it is! The writing; the animation; the voice work. It had gay characters that weren't stereotypes or making it obvious. The animation itself reminds me a lot of the cel-shaded style of animation that was used back in the 2000's. It was was 3D with the feel of 2D. (Despite the fact that there were only 2 2D animators that were credited.) You actually feel for Nimona and Ballistor as she helps him out; even though he still wants to prove his innocence. The characters are relatable and you really feel for them when it comes to the twist and turns. As well as a little something I remember from X-Men: "People fear what they don't understand." That's how many of the citizens felt about

World Robot Competition Fan-Comic... Reboot?

A quick question for you all. I've been talking with Glen about the "World Robot Competition" fan-comic, and he does show interest in coming back. But I must ask... are you guys cool with it being rebooted? I mean, it has been a decade since the comic was last updated. And truth be told, I've been thinking of sprucing up the old story anyhow. A Little Vent is in Order

Okay, this is the first time I'm posting a journal in this new format, but here goes. Normally I don't use this platform to vent, but there's been a few things relating to my voice work and acting career that's been bugging me for a while now. Since 2006, I've struggled to gain a footing as a voice actor online, and getting acting roles has been hit-or-miss back in my days in Staten Island. Which is understandable since I've been a bit pigheaded in my goals as an actor. For example, I'm still non-Union because I love to work in anime. But there is a time where I should join a Union like SAG-AFTRA, so I can get myself more roles and more opportunities. But I haven't been lucky in either. Thankfully, I've been getting a bit of a shot in the arm when I voiced Leonard Vertighel in the "PKNA" motion comics in 2012, as well as being the go-to voice for Antoine in many Sonic-related projects. Sadly, thanks to the Corona, I can't audition for local theater here in Florida until things go

To avoid being blocked, avoid these actions:

Fav&run or Fav Spaming besides ruining your reputation like Emperor-CatVI, giving favs without leaving comments or +watch, can classify you as a favbot.
Leaving very repetitive and simplified comments like a single emoji or one or two words might be considered a form of spam.
DO NOT MIX SFW AND NSFW art in your favorites!; this greatly annoys artists. Use an alternative account to save your NSFW art.
Don't leave your account empty; if your statistics show 0 comments made, 0 favourites, no profile picture, and you have a long account history, you may be blocked.
The instant watch/unwatch action can be annoying for some people; please avoid it.

(It is worth noting that I was blocked due to these actions, especially the first one.)

Many people are unaware of this, but when you get blocked on DeviantArt, the artwork from the artist who blocked you is removed from your favorites gallery. Additionally, you won't be able to find the artwork of the artist who blocked you; it will be hidden from your search, and you won't be able to view their art until they unblock you.
